What is Distinct About the Universe Spirituality Movement Universe Spirituality (aka Universe Spirit, US or Universe Spirit.Org,) as a movement has many distinct and unique characteristics and functions: a.) It is wisdom about the life and spirit of the universe that sustains us all.   b.) It is an integral and progressive evolution-aligned wisdom system in which the individual integrates accurate and useful science, the perspectives of New Universe Worldview and humanity's multi-denominational spiritual heritage of life-affirming wisdom into a life-enhancing new balance. c.) It provides a new, expanded and unified understanding of life and spirit and their apparent purposes and destinations in relation to Ultimate Reality (no matter how you define it.) This new and expanded unified understanding of life and spirit conveys a tremendous sustainable success advantage to all who understand and use it. It also helps to catalyze and facilitate personal spiritual exploration of Ultimate Reality in the great adventure called life.   d.) It is focused upon helping you to discover and manifest your own full potential, truth, and highest self-reflective awareness, consciousness and/or spirit to simultaneously serve your own goals and needs, your community, the world and, Ultimate Reality.   e.) Through its combined life science discovery, direct spiritual experience, and contributing to "something greater than self" community service process, it also helps the individual as a universe citizen to co-create a science-rational, progressive and evolutionary local community and a new planetary culture and civilization. It builds community and culture where scientific probabilities are integrated with both your own personalized spirituality and the most life-affirming wisdom from all of humanity's vast spiritual heritage. f.) It actively supports humanity's collective efforts to create a meaningful and sustainable prosperity for all. (In this way it also is a comprehensive example of eco-spirituality principles.)   g.) It presents spirituality for the first time from a whole, physical universe-framed perspective. It holds that even though the physical universe may not be the ultimate end of the spiritual discovery and exploration process, it is the first, most direct and most common collective space wherein individuals can explore and test their personal spirituality and then agree upon what common or universal values and meanings they discover. (Observation of the physical universe has been the source of our very oldest spiritual wisdom and now has once again become the source of the very newest spiritual wisdom as found within the perspectives of New Universe Worldview.)     h.) It teaches the most universe time-tested, universe congruent and universal life-affirming values and principles as found in part in the New Universe Principles and from humanity's heritage of life-affirming spirituality. (Universe time tested means over the full 13.7 billion years from the big bang until now.)   i.) It is here to educate and/or help create the New Universe Worldview evolutionary leaders, educators, advocates and activists.   j.) It is an adventure of discovery. In Universe Spirit you can explore the Three Great Spiritual Adventures into and with Ultimate Reality shared in a living, evolving and learning universe! These Three Great Spiritual Adventures are the epic self-discovery and life-empowerment adventures of today’s new spiritual heroes and heroines. They are the life and spirit adventures, which will release your greatest potentials and consciousness to serve: a.) your most worthwhile and life-affirming goals and aspirations,  b.) the Earth and all it's life, c.) the amazing unstoppable power-flow of the progressive directionality of the universe's evolution and, d.) the great mystery of Ultimate Reality that interconnects all things. These Three Great Spiritual Adventures help create the global Great Universe Alignment already being facilitated by Universe Spirit's rapidly emerging Unissance social network.  k.) It squarely addresses and manages the pathologies, problems and power abuses of past religious and spiritual groups by offering new solutions (listed below,) and safeguards for these areas as well.    l.) It was first brought into being by the non-profit spiritual education organization Integrative Spirituality. It is also sometimes also know as Universe Spirituality, Universe Evolutionary Spirituality, Universe Integral Spirituality and sometimes even Universe Eco-spirituality. This is because of the strong currents from those movements found within Universe Spirit. How Universe Spirit Community Enacts its Mission Universe Spirit has some of the operational principles and qualities that other spiritual movements have, but it also has many unique operational principles and qualities not found in any other spiritual movement or organization. The operational principles used for how a spiritual movement enacts their mission goals is just as important if not more so, than the mission goals themselves. Universe Spirit enacts its spiritual mission and goals in a manner that is: a.) personal and personalized,    b.) spiritual wisdom integrated and science probability balanced, (Universe Spirit seeks to also provide reality-congruent and reality-grounded answers to life's most critical questions. Questions like, what is the ultimate origin, nature and destiny of the universe (and the individuals in it,) what is our ultimate meaning and purpose, what is Ultimate Reality and what is our ultimate identity in a progressively evolving universe.)     c.) practical, in that it provides practical and effective day-to-day practices and ethical principles to help empower you to better achieve your goals through better alignment and congruence with: i.) the unstoppable flow of the progressive directionality of universe evolution, ii.) the best of humanity's heritage of life-affirming spiritual wisdom and iii.) the New Universe Worldview.    d.) an open source participatory process, it is designed to continually evolve our principles, policies, community and organization's evolvability in a collaborative process, (When you are done reading Part 1 of the Open Source Spirituality Manifesto that we created click here and read in Part 2 of the Manifesto the section called Co-creational Principles for Building an Open Source Spirituality Collaboration and Expanding the Global Spiritual Commons.
