The evolutionary worldview that emerges from an understanding of our role in the new phase has the potential to transform the nature of human existence. At present humanity is lost. We don’t know what we are doing here. We are without a worldview that can point to our place and purpose in the universe and that can also withstand rational scrutiny. The Urantia book compares and describes the evolutionary adventures and states of personal and impersonal God from a western perspective. Book 1 of the Urantia book contains one of the greatest and most complete summaries of western mysticism and theology regarding God ever compiled --- and only that is why we recommend it. It should also be noted that there are many intriguing stories about the Urantia book’s author originators. In spite of the considerable speculation about the books origin we treat this book as though it was simply secretly written by human western mystics very familiar many of the varieties of western mysticism and western theology.
